Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool and toddler care
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Create and maintain a structured daily schedule for the classroom
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and play
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of each child

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum
- Ability to create and adapt curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

Note: This position is for a preschool teacher in a daycare setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $31,200.00 per year
